An all-over medallion rug rooted in a centuries-old Turkoman weaving tradition. Turkoman rugs grew from the nomadic and semi-nomadic culture of the Turkmen peoples of Central Asia, whose weavings served both practical and ceremonial roles in tent life, from floor coverings and storage bags to door hangings and wedding trappings.
