A classic Beshir design rooted in a centuries-old Turkoman weaving tradition that flourished in the middle Amu Darya valley of Central Asia, where Beshir and Ersari weavers developed a distinctive and unusually varied design vocabulary. The rhythmic lattice of elongated diamond motifs and geometric medallions is set within a warm madder-red field.
