Ikat

Inspired by the centuries-old ikat textile tradition practiced across Asia, in which yarns are resist-dyed before weaving to create bold patterns with characteristic softly feathered edges, this design translates the fluid geometry and rhythmic forms of woven ikat cloth into a contemporary hand-knotted rug.
