Lesghi Star Kazak

Geometric medallions. This design draws on the historic weaving traditions of the eastern Caucasus, particularly the Kuba region, where the celebrated Lesghi Star became a characteristic motif of nineteenth-century rugs, reinterpreted today by master weavers in northern Afghanistan.
